Leif Boork is known to be a real provocateur.
Now Linus Omark says what everyone thinks about the hockey profile.
– He is just like my father, admits the SHL star in the podcast “Hockeysverige”.
They’ve had their share of dust on social media over the years. The SHL star Linus Omark and the hockey profile Leif Bork have often gotten into verbal arguments and poked each other with cheeky taunts.
Omark & Boork
Most recently it was before the SHL season when Boork suddenly unleashed a giant sawing of Luleå’s star player on the platform X, formerly Twitter. The outspoken Boork really couldn’t understand how Omark was ranked as one of the league’s biggest stars, see the picture below.

That led to Linus Omark replying with a perfectly clear answer back.
“That the staff at the retirement home still gives you access to the Wi-Fi is damn impressive, you must be a bastard at persuading people,” he wrote at the time.
“He is smart”
Now Omark speaks out again and opens up about the frosty relationship with Boork.
– It was probably 2011 that he wrote to me for the first time and I replied. He’s been at it every year trying to find something on me, so it’s nothing new. But on the whole I have nothing against him. But you notice that he likes attention, says the Luleå player in the podcast “Hockeysverige”.

Linus Omark is far from alone in arguing with Boork in social media as the hockey profile is not afraid to say what he thinks or make controversial statements. Now the SHL star says what everyone really thinks about the good Boork.
– “Leffe” knows that everything he does sticks in the eyes of others and maybe me. He wants me to send a tweet back. He’s smart that way, Linus says in the interview with a laugh.

Omark recognizes this behavior from another old man in his vicinity.
– He is just like my father. He belongs to that generation that if he says one thing and someone thinks the opposite, then he refuses to agree, even if he knows he’s wrong, the hockey player admits in the podcast.
– You think: “I’m going to show that old man”, he laughs.
