Elvira Öberg has started the season promisingly. In Hochfilzen, the Swede secured three podium places when she finished second in the sprint and team relay and took home the pursuit start.
Now the sprint is approaching in Swiss Lenzerheide and a height difference is to be expected, something that could become a problem.
– The tracks here are tough. Not least the two and a half kilometer course, it’s a very tough course with two sustained climbs, says Öberg to SVT Sport.
The 24-year-old continues:
– I would really say that this suits me, but the only concern is the height. I’m not trying to say that it will go badly in advance, but the altitude can usually wear more on the first few days.
