Destiny 2 will also receive an update today. This time with version number 7.3.0.3. So players have to prepare for another downtime this week. MeinMMO has all the information and times for you.
This is what you need to know today: Destiny 2 developers Bungie announced today on their official Twitter/X channel that the servers will have to be shut down again today for maintenance on Update 7.3.0.3.
MeinMMO tells you how long the downtime will last so you know exactly when you won’t be able to play.
The new dungeon “Ruin of the Warlord” will also be offline for a while:
Maintenance on December 12th – All times for server down
These times are important today: Bungie informs its players about the planned downtimes via Twitter/X. The planned downtime is again 2 hours and 45 minutes.
This is what the maintenance schedule looks like:
Background maintenance will begin on all platforms at 2:00 p.m.
The servers go offline at around 3:15 p.m. Players are automatically kicked out of the game.
During the downtime, Bungie will gradually roll out update 7.3.0.3 so that players can download and install it on all platforms.
The shooter should be online again at 6:00 p.m. and you can log in again.
The maintenance will then continue in the background until 8:00 p.m.
This must be taken into account when dealing with downtimes: As long as the background maintenance is running, connection problems may occur in the game from time to time. In addition, queues can sometimes form when logging in because Bungie only releases access to the servers gradually in order to avoid problems caused by excessive server load. You may therefore have to wait longer until you are back in the game. Also keep in mind that third-party applications and the official Companion app may also not be accessible properly for a while, meaning you won’t be able to use them.
That changes with Update 7.3.0.3 in Season 23
The following bugs are currently on Bungie’s to-do list:
Based on early player feedback, Iron Banner Tribute mode will be replaced by Iron Banner Control for the remainder of the week. The change will take effect after the update.
Iron Banner is intended to be a celebration of PvP, and Bungie wants to ensure that everyone has a positive experience while playing it. An improved tribute experience is coming back soon.
The Scorching Wish buff continuously applies scorch to players in a variety of ways in The Coil activity.
The Catalyst quest “The Dragon’s Breath” is not progressing in the S23 activities.
When auto-melee is enabled, glaives will almost always perform double melee.
The Gambit Legacy Armor costs 15,000 Legendary Shards instead of Glimmer to focus.
The Major Arcana cards in Season of the Witch incorrectly say that they expire at the end of Season 22 rather than at the end of Season 23.
Some emojis in the Fireteam Finder will not be available on certain platforms at the start of the beta test.
The Dismantle perk does not correctly refund Fusion Rifle ammo.
Checkmate Control does not count toward Weekly Challenge progress.
The Belisar-D Pulse Rifle will no longer drop for players who complete their placement matches in Competitive Crucible.
The title “Star Baker” is no longer available.
Some rocket launchers no longer appear in the preview screen.
New dungeon and season armor sets will appear in players’ appearance screens, even if they are not unlocked.
Activity Ghost Mod use wildcard icons.
Occasionally Eva Levante’s head may be missing.
Veist auto rifles can be partially rotated off-screen in the inspection view.
Players can die from finishers if the enemy dies before the finisher animation completes.
The Mighty Friends and Radiant Light armor mods require at least one armor charge to activate.
The Resilience stat determines the damage resistance of the previous level if it is a multiple of 10. A resilience of 100 adequately provides the intended benefit.
If you die in the final boss arena of the Hyper Web Power Strike, the Guardian’s spirit may become stuck in the ground.
Player name changes are not infinitely customizable via bungie.net. Several “number guardians” continue to wait for the option to change their player name again instead of receiving the message “You do not have any name changes available”.
This is not a comprehensive list of all known issues, but rather a targeted list of specific sources of error. If there are any further defects within the game, it would be helpful if you would share them in our comments section.
