Zlatan Ibrahimovic has got his first job after his playing career.
But now clear criticism is being directed at “Ibra” and his new role in Milan.

On Monday, it finally became official after a long period of speculation. Zlatan Ibrahimovic has finished his very first job after the long playing career and he has got a completely new role in AC Milan.
Zlatan’s new role
The 42-year-old will act as an advisor to Milan’s owners and have an active role in the sporting and commercial activities of the Italian giants.

The negotiations seem to have gone on for a long time and Zlatan is now satisfied with his new role.
– This is not a decision I take lightly. It is very important and personal to me and my family. I have thought long and hard about the first step for my career outside of football, said the Swede at a press conference on Monday.
Capello’s criticism
But now there is also clear criticism directed at Zlatan’s return to Milan and football again. It’s his former coach Fabio Capello who express their deep concern about this confusing appointment.
– Can he go to Milanello (training facility)? Can he talk to the players, what can he do? “Ibra” is a smart man, he can have a key role in certain situations, but when he returned to Milan as a player, he was in the dressing room and he could have an impact in there, the 77-year-old coaching legend told Sky Italia.

Capello, who has coached teams such as Roma, Juventus, Real Madrid and especially Milan during his career, cannot quite understand what this new role means and is now saying what many are thinking.
– After this statement, we do not understand if he can enter the dressing room, if he can help Stefano Pioli (the head coach) or if this plan to integrate Ibra in Milan could be negative for Pioli, who could then lose his leadership, he says in his criticism.

After last season, both the sports director got Paolo Maldini and the club director Ricky Massara leave their services, where Zlatan will now cover up, but he is still not considered a direct replacement for any of them.
– This is the problem! That means they lacked someone to replace Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara. I mean; is that why the club have brought Ibrahimovic back? That is my big question, Capello admits to the Italian television channel.
– Again, Ibra can cover this role because he is a smart guy who wants to prove his abilities off the pitch. Therefore, he could be a perfect solution for Milan – but he also needs experience – and this is the difference right now. He will need to come in slowly and get the support of the club.
