The Reuters news agency has obtained an American intelligence report that was previously classified. In it, it appears that 315,000 Russians have been killed or injured in Ukraine, according to US information.
That corresponds to almost 90 percent of the soldiers that Russia had at its disposal before the country invaded Ukraine, writes Reuters.
The information comes from one of the news agency’s sources, who is supposed to have good insight into the US intelligence operations.
The source states that the heavy losses have caused the Kremlin to take “extraordinary measures” in order to continue fighting in Ukraine.
