Armand Duplantis is the world’s best male track and field athlete – again.
For the second year in a row, “Mondo” received the prestigious award.
Now girlfriend Desiré Inglander reveals his beautiful gesture to Sweden during the award ceremony last night.
2023 has been another fantastic year for Armand Duplantis with both WC gold and double world records. Now the Swedish world star is highly praised after the success during the year.

“Mondo” has been named the world’s best male athlete for 2023, the second year in a row and the third time in total that the 24-year-old has received the prestigious award. At a big gala in Monaco on Monday night, Duplantis got to step out on stage again to receive the cheers and another heavy award in his career.
The world’s best pole vaulter proudly displays photos from the award ceremony in Monaco on social media and compares himself to James Bond himself. Mondo wore a white blazer with a black bow tie like the actor Sean Connery did in the old Bond movies.

The girlfriend and great love were also present Desire Inglander to show their support for the boyfriend. She often accompanies Armand out into the world at both competitions and athletics galas and also shares her everyday life on social media.
Desiré has also posted pictures, see them below, from the award ceremony in Monaco and reveals a hidden detail at Mondo which is a very beautiful tribute to Sweden. Along with his James Bond-inspired outfit, he also has custom-made cufflinks in blue and gold with both the Olympic rings and the Three Kronor symbol.
