The Minister of National Education Gabriel Attal announced the development of a tool powered by artificial intelligence for high school students. All second year students should be able to access it at the start of the school year in September 2024.
Called MIA (for Adaptive Interactive Modules), this intelligent platform is intended to support second-year students in French and mathematics. It will include no less than 20,000 adaptive exercises spread over 24 modules, usable on PC, smartphone and tablet.
When they first log in, students will take a test that will assess their level. The exercises proposed subsequently will then be specially adapted, thanks to a dedicated algorithm, responsible for identifying the most effective exercises for each student. At any time, the difficulty of the exercises will adapt to the student’s level, whether they are progressing or regressing.
At the start of the 2024 school year, no fewer than 800,000 second-year students will be able to connect. Note that a first test phase, with 200,000 students, should be launched next February. Students will also be able to benefit from tutorials (explanatory videos) as well as a duo mode in order to help each other with friends. A dashboard will allow you to monitor your progress throughout the year.
Important clarification: MIA will not be compulsory, but recommended, especially for students in difficulty.
