Swedish star goalkeeper Johanna Bundsen was named player of the match in Saturday’s victory against Hungary (26-22).
She took two penalties in the first half and shined when Sweden turned the game around in the second half.
– I had a bit of a struggle in the first half. But we come in incredibly well in the second half. I had to talk to myself a little during the break. We are very well behind in others and that makes it a little easier for me, says Bundsen to SVT Sport.
She also pays tribute to fellow player Jamina Robers who was a contributing factor in the turnaround.
– She is an incredible player. We know she does that if necessary, smiles Bundsen.
Sweden is now ready for the quarter-finals of the WC.
