It was in the second period that Simon Robertsson’s elbow hit Simon Ryfors in the head. The referees chose to review the tackle, but did not award a sending off.
The expert Jonas Andersson thinks that in itself is right, but he wants to see a rule change that means that Ryfors is not allowed to play on immediately.
He wants to introduce a rule that exists in the NHL, where you first have to enter the locker room after a blow to the head.
– That you don’t have that in the SHL, it’s completely incomprehensible, says Andersson, who also talks about how he lied to the team doctor on the bench in order to play on.
Skellefteå won the match 4-2.
