Viktor Gyökeres has made a complete great success.
Now he is being chased by one of the Premier League’s biggest clubs.
And there could be record sales of over a billion kroner.
Last season got Viktor Gyökeres his big breakthrough at Coventry in the English Championship. That led to Sporting Lisbon coughing up a whopping SEK 280 million to make the 25-year-old the club’s most expensive signing ever last summer.
Gyökere’s success
The Swedish striker has also not disappointed the Portuguese after that. In 17 games, Gyökeres Öst has scored a total of 15 goals and 7 assists for his new club and has attracted significantly larger clubs.

The former BP player left Sweden in 2018 and since then has also shown his great talent in the Swedish A national team with efforts that promise well for the future. Now the Portuguese newspaper Record reports that clubs such as Borussia Dortmund, Sevilla and Arsenal themselves are interested in signing Gyökeres.
Arsenal are chasing
Arsenal, who lead the Premier League right now, have the successful player on a list of possible new acquisitions for the coming season and if the goals continue to pour in, they may act. The Portuguese newspaper A Bola also reports that the Swede has a buyout clause of a whopping 100 million euros, over one billion Swedish kronor.

– If it is 100 million euros, then part of it can be used to find someone else. If that is the clause, I accept it, the coach admitted in an interview.
