The Day Before: Release, Download and Early Access

When is “The Day Before” released? The official release of The Day Before is exactly today, December 7th, 2023 at 7:00 p.m. German time. The game will initially be released in Early Access. The full release will follow when the developer is “confident that this is the best version of the game” (via Twitter).

How big is the download? The download size for The Day Before has reduced while players waited for its release. Currently this is only 55 GB compared to the previous 80 GB.

How much does The Day Before cost? The price of the game on Steam will be 40.00 euros in early access and 50.00 euros upon full release. If you have bought the early access version, you can also play the finished full version later.

The Day Before: Platforms – Is there a release on PS5 and Xbox

Which platforms will the game be released on? Initially, The Day Before will only be available in Early Access on PC via Steam. It starts at 7:00 p.m.

The Day Before will also be released for consoles. However, the versions for the PS5 and Xbox Series X will only be delivered with the final release.

    What is the story about? The story of The Day Before is about a post-apocalyptic version of the USA and takes place in the city of New Fortune. This is modeled on New York City.

    After a pandemic, infected people who have become a kind of zombies are omnipresent there. Your task is to fight against these zombies and of course survive as long as possible.

    From December 2023 you can fight against infected people together or alone in The Day Before.
