(Finance) – Inflation in France confirmed to increase in February 2022. According to theFrench National Statistical Institute (INSEE)inflation increased by 3.6% on a trend basis, as in the preliminary estimate and up compared to + 2.9% in January.
On a monthly basisconsumer prices recorded an increase of 0.8%, against + 0.3% in the previous month.
The harmonized data, a measure used by the ECBrecorded a positive change of 4.2% on an annual basis, (consensus + 4.1%) while on a monthly basis harmonized inflation shows an increase of 0.9%, slightly higher than the estimated + 0.8% from the market.
