Throne and Liberty, which will also be released on Steam, appears to be gearing up for its upcoming release in Korea. There has been a flurry of trailers lately that present different aspects of the game. A new trailer looks at the bosses in the game.
What kind of bosses will there be? The trailer introduces four different boss types that players can encounter in Throne and Liberty:
The world bosses are open in the game world and can be attacked by the players who are nearby. They give you rarer items than normal enemies, but more players are needed to defeat them.
The standard bosses in dungeons are – as you can already guess – the bosses you encounter at the end of a dungeon. These dungeons are only unlocked at level 30 (maximum level: 50) and can be fought by groups of players consisting of a maximum of 6 people.
If you have reached Act 2, you have the option of joining a guild. In a raid you and your guild can then face special opponents. There are no other players who will disturb you in your project.

What about the archbosses? The archbosses are only available from level 50, i.e. at the maximum level. Players have to work together in large groups to defeat a boss. For the archboss, which can be seen in the trailer, for example, the chest must first be attacked in order to weaken it.
As soon as such an arch boss is defeated, there are bonuses that affect the entire server. For example, in the video you can see an effect that lasts for 2 hours. The bonus increases the attack of an attack by 5.
However, the problem with the archbosses is that PvP is active here. This means that players can hinder each other. Therefore, killing such a boss becomes even more challenging.
The archbosses should not be available from the start. The NCSoft development team doesn’t want to add the bosses until a month and a half after the release, when players have reached the maximum level and are equipped accordingly.
Otherwise it would not be possible to defeat such an archboss. This shows how strong these bosses will be. Throne and Liberty is scheduled to be released in Europe at the end of the first quarter. In Korea, players can already look forward to it today: the release there is on December 7th, 2023.
