Lauri Markkanen was sidelined from the previous match, but now he was playing his biggest minutes of the season. Karl-Anthony Towns rose to considerable legends by tapping a 60-point super night.
Basketball in the NBA Lauri Markkanen returned to the floor after a one-game break when the Cleveland Cavaliers defeated the Los Angeles Clippers in the extra 120-111.
Markkanen threw 17 points with a high success rate in the match, grabbed nine rebounds and gave one pass to the basket. He immersed his throws in the basket 5/9 and three-point throws 4/6. 3/4 of the free throws were successful.
The 24-year-old Finn watched the biggest minutes of the match of all the players, more than 46 minutes. These are clearly Markkanen’s toughest game minutes of the season. The match was also the first of Cleveland’s season to advance to overtime.

Cleveland cut their losing streak in two matches. It will continue in sixth place in the Eastern Conference, the last place to qualify for the playoffs. The Toronto Raptors are lurking behind with less than one win.
Cleveland have won 39 of their 68 matches and lost 29.
Minnesota center Karl-Anthony Towns a dizzying match
Minnesota 26-year-old center Karl-Anthony Towns set up quite a show when the Minnesota Timberwolves claimed a guest win from San Antonio Spurs 149-139.
The 211-cent and 112-pound Towns loaded the board with 60 points, the hardest reading of their careers. It’s also a Timberwolves club record. The last time the 60-point limit was broken in the NBA was last April after the Boston Celtics Jayson Tatum threw 60 surfaces.
He tried 31 times in the match and succeeded 19 times. The threes sank with an accuracy of 7/11 and free throws with 15/16. In addition, Towns took 17 rebounds.
Towns is the sixth player in NBA history to score at least 60 points in a single match and take at least 15 rebounds. In the past, legends like Karl Malone, Shaquille O’Neal, Michael Jordan, James Harden and Wilt Chamberlain.
Towns also became a single-match point this season. Previously, that statistic was for the LA Lakers LeBron Jamesin and the Atlanta Hawks Trae Youngin in the name of having made 56 points per match.
