Home invasion suspects charged: police

Suspects who police say threatened people with a gun and demanded valuables during a home invasion are facing charges.

Three men forced their way into a home near McGibbon and Proctor streets Monday, before fleeing, Sarnia police said.

“As a result of a quick and coordinated effort by responding officers, (suspects) were arrested a short time later,” police said in a news release.

Styles Greenbird, 20, Riley Smith, 19, and Trenton Smith-Haughie, 19, are each charged with robbery, breaking and entering, disguise with intent, and failing to comply with probation orders.

Greenbird also faces several weapons charges, and is charged with uttering threats.

All three suspects were held for a bail hearing, police said Tuesday.
