Four people are said to have been injured in a shooting in the Belgian capital Brussels, reports Le Soir.
According to the newspaper, the police say that it is not an act of terrorism. One of those hit is described as having life-threatening injuries.
The Swedish EU parliamentarian Tomas Tobé writes on X, formerly Twitter, that one of the injured is an employee of his.
“One of our employees has been injured in a shooting in Brussels. Terrible. The person in question is currently receiving treatment, the situation is not considered to be critical. Relatives of the person have been notified,” writes Tobé.
In mid-October, two Swedes were killed and one injured in a terrorist attack in Brussels.
