    An English woman recently confided that she managed to give birth in just six minutes… and without pain. Let’s lift the veil on its secret.

    A delivery in 6 minutes, can you believe it? This is the incredible story of an English woman, Justine Glenn, who claims to have found the technique to give birth quickly and painlessly. Decryption of this case, with Camille Branger, midwife.

    Stay active throughout pregnancy

    For this young mother, the secret of her “successful” delivery lies in the fact of having remained “mobile” throughout her pregnancy (provided, of course, that she was able to do so). In other words, continue to walk, go to the gym (doing less exercise than usual), and play a lot of ball – 20 minutes in the morning and 20 minutes in the evening from 32 weeks of pregnancy.

    When I was working and before I got pregnant, I took between 16,000 and 18,000 steps a day. When I found out I was pregnant, I kept this habit to do at least 10,000 a day. Staying active, if you can do it, can really help with work and recovery“, she reveals.

    Doing a sporting activity would in fact reduce the need for medical intervention, such as a cesarean section. It would also increase respiratory capacity and make D-day more enduring.

    Fruits and vegetables on the plate

    In addition to this sporting activity, the young mother confided that she had continued to eat healthily, particularly favoring fruits and vegetables on her plate.

    His favorite fruit? Pineapple, which she consumed almost 4 times a week.

    Finally, her last advice is to try to stay relaxed, as much as possible, to avoid transmitting anxiety to the baby and to promote a quick and painless delivery.

    “Controlling” your childbirth is not possible

    Of course, each birth is different and simple habits cannot predict future conditions (emergency cesarean section, etc.).

    The mother-to-be should not think that everything is her responsibility. There are uncontrollable things, just the position of the baby can favor or not the pushing“, explains Camille Branger.

    To best prepare for the baby’s arrival, the midwife nevertheless recommends:

    • To prepare for childbirthduring which we see the different pushing methods” ;
    • D-day, “to be comfortable in the position for pushing” ;
    • to stay active”throughout pregnancy (stretching, cardio, swimming)” ;
    • to perform a perineal massage from 34 weeks “to know this area better, to better understand it, to understand or to push.”
