Farmer seeks wife 2024 remade
Farmer Seeks Wife has for many years been one of our country’s most popular programs with an audience of one million every week.
The structure of the program has been for all years that it is farmers around Sweden who will be allowed to look for love because, due to, among other things, life on the farm, they have had difficulty meeting someone.
But now the casting team wants to expand their horizons.
Before the 2024 season, the love program opens for a new professional group: Fishermen.
At the time of writing, in other words, the casting team is looking for a lovesick fisherman on the West Coast.
– We think that the blue industry is also a form of agriculture. And it doesn’t have to be a fisherman, but maybe someone who works with oysters or maybe algae, says Paula Jensen from the casting team for “Farmer seeks wife” to Bohusläningen.
– We always want to find a good mix of different farmers. This season we have an ostrich resident and we have had a reindeer farmer and an elk farmer before, so now we are going one step further, she adds.
