Three cars were involved in an accident in Västerhejde on Gotland on Tuesday afternoon. Four people are injured, of which a man in his 70s has life-threatening injuries, reports Hela Gotland, which refers to the healthcare system.
The alarm about the accident came at 14.19. Route 140 is closed in both directions. One of the cars has driven into a power pole and a wire is reported to be across the road.
A woman in her 70s has also been taken to hospital by ambulance, with minor injuries. Another two injured did not need to seek treatment, Hela Gotland states.
