It reports Kyiv Post and refers to unverified information in Russian media.

– They told the guards that they wanted to thank our boys for everything, for protecting them. The guys took vodka and food, drank with their colleagues and ate. And many were poisoned, a source told the Russian Telegram channel Kremlin Snuffbox.

Guerrilla group in Crimea

The Ukrainian guerrilla group Crimean Combat Seagulls has confirmed and claimed responsibility for the poison attack. In addition to the 24 killed, eleven poisoned Russian soldiers are also being treated in hospital, according to the “Battle Gulls”.

In a post on Telegram, the group writes that “nice girls” welcomed the soldiers with “goodies” to eat.

“The arsenic tasted unforgettable. We continue to work and urge everyone to exterminate the Russians on the peninsula like cockroaches,” writes the Crimean Combat Seagulls.

Many poisonings

According to Russian media, the partisans have not been found, but the investigation is ongoing, Kyiv Post reports.

Russian forces in occupied parts of Ukraine have on several occasions fallen victim to poisoning.
