A 34-year-old man from Drammen in Norway is sentenced to 15 years in prison for sexually assaulting over 50 children. 16 of the vulnerable children come from Sweden, reports P4 Kronoberg.
The pedophile is sentenced in a Norwegian district court for the abuse that has taken place online. The man has chatted with the children and made them commit sexual acts in the belief that they met a peer on the chat forum. All victims were under the age of 14 and the youngest child was six years old.
The crimes were committed from February 2022 until the man was arrested and detained in June of the same year.
The 34-year-old has admitted everything he was charged with. According to the verdict, he must pay damages to the 35 identified children totaling just over seven million kroner, writes Hallands Nyheter.
