At eight o’clock on Tuesday morning, an alarm came in about a suspected train accident south of the train station in Skövde. The emergency services were called to the scene and searched along the tracks. It turned out to be a deer that the train had run over.
During the search, train traffic was suspended on the Western main line between Skövde and Regumatorp, which affected traffic between Gothenburg and Stockholm.
At 08:45, the rescue service was finishing the operation at the scene. Exactly when the trains can start rolling again is still unclear.
