The first trailer for GTA 6 is now out and shows the main characters, the city and the release year of the long-awaited action game for the first time
Rockstar Games surprisingly released the first trailer for GTA 6 shortly after 00:00 a.m. on December 5, 2023, hours ahead of the actual schedule. The trailer was originally scheduled to appear at 3:00 p.m. German time.
The trailer is 1:30 minutes long and shows Vice City, the city in which the game is set, as well as the main characters.
The song “Love is a Long Road” by Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers plays in the background.

Leaks force Rockstar to release sooner
Why did the trailer come sooner? As Rockstar Ganes announced on X.com (formerly Twitter), the trailer was leaked before the actual release date, which is why the development studio decided to release the trailer earlier.
When is GTA 6 coming? In addition to the city of Vice and the main characters, the trailer also revealed that GTA 6 will be released in 2025. However, an exact date cannot be seen in the trailer.
