With its pretty cobbled streets, its half-timbered houses and its Christmas market, Eguisheim regularly appears in the ranking of the Most Beautiful Villages in France. No wonder it inspired Disney studios to create Belle’s village, in the cult film released in 1992. In the remake released in 2017, we can see the Eguisheim Dovecote transformed into Belle’s house!
