Another Houten resident, who also wants to remain anonymous, agrees. “I wish everyone a safe place, but I find such a tall building where people live in containers inhumane.” The man therefore hopes that the asylum seekers and people on the emergency list will be better distributed. “I think that works much better than concentrating them with more than three hundred people,” he explains. “The road is also poorly lit and when the municipality says that our safety cannot be guaranteed, I don’t feel any better.”
