Saga and Cimberly nervous before the final

Tonight, Idol 2023 is decided.
The final is between Cimberly Wanyonyi, 18, and Saga Ludvigsson, 17, who have had busy days leading up to the final evening.
– There is no time for rest now, says Cimberly Wanyonyi.

The road to the final has been marked by both praise and criticism from the jury. Now the finalists are preparing the final details for their final performances, which will take place in the Avicii Arena in Stockholm.

– Now after the rope it feels real. The nerves are starting to set in, says Saga Ludvigsson in Efter fem.

Was banned from speaking

The upload for finals week has also been permeated with vocal problems for Cimberly, who has been banned from speaking recently. Now the voice seems to be better.

– It is much better, and the voice rest did its job. It would have been hard if it didn’t pay to be so quiet.

Saga is not a novice in the context of talent hunting. In 2019, she was in the final of TV4’s Talent. Experiences she thinks are good to have with her.

– It’s this that you know how to take cameras and have done the process once before. But this is much bigger. You get nervous regardless.

Both finalists think that their time in Idol has been both fun and intense.

– Sick. Totally crazy! We have done so many things. You don’t even remember everything. It’s kind of unbelievable, says Cimberly.

Several star visits

The final will be visited by several great artists who have experience in talent shows. Zara Larsson, who participated in Talent as a ten-year-old in 2008, will offer a super medley. Victor Leksell, who already went out in the Idol qualifiers, and who then broke through with the hit “Tappat”, performs with a couple of his hits. In addition, the Danish singer Christopher is a guest.

Idol is broadcast on TV4 and on TV4 Play at 20:00.
