It’s at the end of the month that the film Sonic 2 is released on the big screen and on the side of Paramount Pictures, we are sharpening the promotional campaign. First of all, it is a new trailer which is proposed, the last probably since it is the final trailer, and which allows to have a very (too?) great overview of what awaits us in 15 days. We realize especially on Dr. Robotnik (Eggman in VO) will have a more important place in this sequel, which will allow us to see Jim Carrey at work. The latter also calls on Knuckles who will come and kick the buttocks of Sonic and Tails, since the blue hedgehog is no longer alone anymore. The film therefore promises humor, epic action scenes, but also a lot of references to video games. Moreover, in this regard, the new poster of this Sonic 2 clearly refers to the cover of Sonic 2 released on Megadrive released in 1992. With 306.8 million dollars at the box office, the first Sonic was a real hit and this sequel should appeal just as much to fans who enjoyed the first one. Otherwise, for the French voices, Malik Bentalha returns to the role of Sonic.
