Finland closes the last open border crossing with Russia, Helsingin Sanomat reports.
The decision will be made during a government meeting in the afternoon, the newspaper writes.
The border will be closed to all traffic except freight traffic, two government sources told the newspaper.
The announcement comes after several hundred asylum seekers have come to the border crossings between Russia and Finland in recent weeks – which Finnish authorities have described as an attempt at a hybrid attack.
The EU has also sent border guards to assist Finland.
