Calle Halfvarsson made a private acknowledgment after the men’s mass start.

This weekend, the World Cup premiere in cross-country skiing took place in Ruka. For the Swedish ladies, it was a great success. There was a Swedish winner in each race, and a total of five podium places for the Swedes.
Halfvarsson’s disclosure
On the men’s side, it was tougher. In the sprint it was Edwin Anger who became the best Swede, with his 19th place. At 10 kilometers it was classic William Poromaa who was the strongest blue-yellow rider, when he drove into tenth place. Close behind was Poromaa Calle Halfvarssonwhich finished eleventh.

It was also Halfvarsson who was the leading Swede in the mass start of 20 kilometers, when he placed 18th. After the race, the 34-year-old made a very private confession.
– I’m not feeling to well. I have frozen the muzzle. For real. Damn, I had to lie in there for ten minutes to warm it up. It hurts so damn much. It’s terrible, Halfvarsson revealed to Expressen.
Northug’s advice
Peter Northugnow a length expert on TV 2, recognizes Halfvarsson’s pain.
– First of all, welcome to the club, because I have experienced it myself.
– I’ve sat in press conferences here after good races and had so much pain there that… I had probably a year here, and had no feeling in my penis for three months afterwards. I hope it goes over faster for Calle than it did for me, says Northug to TV 2.

The former cross-country skier also has a piece of advice to share with Halfvarsson.
– The trick is to wear windproof underpants, tape it, and lubricate it with a silicone ointment like the one I had. I discovered that the year after my situation, so that’s my advice to Calle, says Northug to the Norwegian channel.
