Tension is rising on the Korean peninsula. Pyongyang is reportedly rehabilitating guard posts and transporting additional heavy weapons to the border, according to South Korea’s Defense Ministry. Its aim was to avoid clashes around the heavily guarded demilitarized zone, which divides the peninsula in two.
