Altercation at business leads to charge of uttering threats

A male is charged following an altercation at a business in Chatham Friday morning, reports Chatham-Kent police.

Police were called to the Grand Avenue business about a male who refused to leave.

Investigation revealed the Chatham male allegedly threatened a worker at the business, police said.

The male was arrested for uttering threats and released with a short date, police said.

E-bike, chainsaws stolen during break-in

Chatham-Kent police are seeking the public’s help regarding a break and enter at business on Talbot Trail in Wheatley.

Police said the break-in occurred between 1:30 pm and 9 pm Friday, resulting in the theft of an e-bike and chainsaws.
