(Finance) – Following the methodological review of the Bank of Italy on the capital buffers of Italian banking groups, Unicredit “remains well above all capital requirements.”
The Piazza Gae Aulenti institute specifies this in a note, recalling that “starting from 1 January 2024 the buffer is set at 1.50%”.
“There is no impact on UniCredit’s shareholder distribution ambitions for 2023 or the future, on the funding plan or on the capital objectives,” the note reads.
