The police in Stockholm County report this:
In connection with tonight’s hockey match at Scaniarink, supporters lit pyrotechnics inside the arena on several occasions and also threw a so-called banger onto the ice during a match break. In connection with this, the Swedish Ice Hockey Association made the decision to empty the arena. The police on site have assisted. It gets rowdy between supporters, both inside the arena and outside. The police handled the situation with a number of units and were finally able to get the situation under control. In connection with the incident, the police have drawn up a number of reports regarding, among other things, violent riot, riot and assault. A police officer also had a bottle thrown at him and a report of violence against an official has therefore been drawn up. No one is suspected or arrested at this time. Continued investigation into the incident will take place going forward.
