The police are investigating a suspected serious crime in central Malmö, but are tight-lipped about what type of crime it is.

– It is out of consideration for the parties involved that we are not saying more at the moment. But it affects no one other than the parties involved, so there is no reason for the public to feel worried, says Evelina Olsson, press spokesperson at the Police.

The police are on site and have set up cordons at the suspected crime scene on Per Weijersgatan. The police write on their website that the investigation is “at a sensitive stage” and that more information can be provided later in the day.
