Janne Andersson leaves “the best job in the world”, but does not know what awaits next.
– It would have been fun to get a coaching job somewhere in a different environment, says the outgoing national team captain.
Jan Andersson called a press conference on Wednesday to put an end to his time as the national team captain for the Swedish men’s national football team.
– I am very proud and happy to have had this job. But not satisfied, then of course I would have wanted us to be in another championship, says the 61-year-old Hallenian.
What awaits now? A national team captain job in another country? A new club in Sweden or abroad? Janne Andersson keeps all doors open.
– I’ve had the best job in the world, so everything can only get worse, unfortunately. I don’t really rule anything out, he says.
– Hope that there may be some exciting project to jump on. It would have been fun to get a coaching job somewhere in a different environment.
