The Silicon Valley soap opera continues. OpenAI announced, Wednesday, November 22, the return to the helm of its co-founder Sam Altman, a few days after his dismissal, announced the start-up creator of ChatGPT on X (formerly Twitter).
“We have reached an agreement in principle for Sam to return to OpenAI as CEO” with changes in the board of directors, notably headed by Bret Taylor and the arrival of Larry Summers and Adam D’Angelo, explained the business.
Support from the boss of Microsoft
Sam Altman affirmed on Wednesday that he had the support of Satya Nadella, the boss of Microsoft, to return to the head of OpenAI, a few days after his dismissal from the start-up and his hiring by the American giant.
“With the new board of directors and the support of Satya, I look forward to returning to OpenAI and building a strong partnership” with Microsoft, wrote Sam Altman on X (ex Twitter).
