With the right help from an alert psychologist, after a number of years on the street, he got a rental home, a ‘milker job’ as a city guard and in social terms: his life on track. But his battle was not over yet. Jan gets into a relationship with Aster, also someone from that anthroposophical community, with whom he also has two children. They lived for a while next to the Daidalos site in Driebergen, one institution which is investigated and closed by the Healthcare and Youth Inspectorate. Arrived in 2011 abuses come to light at the Zonnehuizen Foundation in Zeist. The Healthcare Inspectorate has closed departments and the Zonnehuizen have now transitioned to regular care.
