It was around 18:00 on Monday evening that the assault occurred on Owe Jonsson’s road in Växjö. Police and ambulance were called to the scene.
The perpetrator attacked the boy, who is between 15 and 18 years old, with a sharp knife.
– He was taken to hospital with a cut or stab wound. He has been awake and talkative, says Patric Fors, press spokesperson at the police.
Police cordoned off the scene and spoke to witnesses. The incident is classified as aggravated assault.
No suspect has been arrested.
