Behind the name Beirut, there is an American group led by Zach Condon. A 37-year-old lyric singer, author and composer of folk gems for 16 years. For his seventh album, Hadsel, he took refuge in a cabin in Norway, between fjords and the Northern Lights. Alone with his instruments, he sings of beauty in twelve timeless songs, inspired by landscapes.
