While Binyamin Netanyahu was speaking at the press conference on Saturday, Yair Netanyahu shared posts on his Telegram account. Criticizing the court’s decision regarding the position of the Israeli army on the Gaza border, Netanyahu argued that this decision enabled Hamas’ attack.
HE HELD THE ARMY RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ATTACKS
In his posts, son Netanyahu also held the IDF responsible for the attacks of Hamas, which launched the ‘Aqsa Flood’ operation on Israeli territory, especially on October 7.
In one of those posts that sparked controversy, Yair Netanyahu brought up the allegations that there were warnings about Hamas’ activity at the border, but these warnings were silenced by intimidation.

While Netanyahu’s posts made a splash, a very harsh statement was shared on the website of the Israeli army’s reserve forces organization, Brothers in Arms. “You must see the facts: The arrogance is on you, the lack of transparency and the guilt are on your father. The disastrous era of both of you is over,” the statement said. The statement continued as follows:
“We stand with those who risk their lives, men and women, to protect our homeland, but you fled our homeland. Our nation understands your father’s frustrations and desires. However, I wish you had remained silent on an evening when we experienced the pain of losing 8 of our soldiers.”
