The zombie series All Of Us Are Dead landed on Netflix with great force in January 2022. The project comes from South Korea and was based on a popular webcomic: Like the original, the series is about a group of students who are locked in their classrooms during the outbreak of a zombie apocalypse.
This Mixed concept of hard zombie horror and emotional teen drama was extremely well received worldwide. Only one zombie series released by Netflix was rated better on Moviepilot than All of Us Are Dead (6.8) – Kingdom with 7.3 points. Season 1 also landed in 8th place among the most watched non-English language Netflix series with 55.5 million views.
But almost two years have passed since season 1. What about the sequel?
Starting in 2024? There’s good news for all All of Us Are Dead fans
All of Us Are Dead
Netflix
First: The extension of All of Us Are Dead for a second season on Netflix has been official for a long time. A video announced last year that there would be new episodes. However, not much has happened since then, not a minute of the second season has been filmed. Development is progressing slowly.
As the always well-informed site What’s on Netflix reports, that’s about to change. Season 2 is therefore in the Pre-production. The Filming should begin during the first three months of 2024, i.e. two years after season 1. Unfortunately, this information has not yet been confirmed.
Either way, the current status would mean: All of Us Are Dead will not continue until summer 2024 at the earliest. But apparently things are finally moving.
