Sweden fell against Switzerland in the EC premiere

Now team Wranå, which took the EC place from experienced and medal-heavy team Hasselborg, has made its championship debut. But the result did not go as they had hoped as there was an immediate loss.

After the first five rounds, Sweden led 4-3. But after that they couldn’t manage a single point. Switzerland pulled away and won 8-4.

– I think they have been collected and calm, that bodes well. But there is another level, there have been some too big misses from the team. Grind out the mistakes and it bodes well, says SVT’s expert Eva Lund.

Sweden has a chance to recover already on Sunday when they face Denmark at 15:00, a match you can watch on SVT1 and SVT Play.
