Around eight thirty in the morning, the police were called to Härnegatan in Ljungsbro due to a loud bang. An object had exploded on Härnegatan by the canal. A larger area is now cordoned off.
– We are in the process of sorting it out. The important thing is that no one has been injured. I don’t think any buildings are damaged. It’s an object by the canal that has exploded in some way, says Johnny Gustafsson, spokesperson for the Police Region East.

– It is an object that was not placed on a building. I’m not going to comment on what kind of item it is, but it’s not some strange item, but right now we want to keep it to our knowledge.
