According to The Verge, Discord is shutting down experimental artificial intelligence chatbot Clyde.
DISCORD DISABLES CLYDE
In a support note, Discord said the chatbot would be “disabled” at the end of the month, and that starting December 1, “users will no longer be able to summon Clyde in DMs, Group DMs, or server chats.”
Discord started testing Clyde’s artificial intelligence features earlier this year.
It’s unclear why Clyde’s suddenly closed. It’s also possible that the chatbot may return in the future as a paid feature exclusive to Nitro.
