Up to six hundred fast charging stations will be installed in Utrecht, Flevoland and North Holland over the next seven years. This has been arranged in a tender submitted by 74 municipalities from the three provinces. Currently there is only one public fast charging station in the three provinces. There are freely accessible charging stations that charge a lot faster than the regular stations installed by the municipality.
