“Brittis Benzler has been a valued governor in Halland County and I am happy that she has accepted a new assignment as governor in Jönköping County,” says Minister of Civil Affairs Erik Slottner (KD) in a press release.
Benzler has been governor of Halland since 2020 and before that was a regional politician on Gotland. She has also sat on the Left Party’s party board.
