Joel Kiviranta, who opened the season at the farm, signed a contract with Colorado over the weekend and managed to score in his second game in the Avalanche outfit.
Finnish striker Joel Kiviranta was on the attack in the NHL round of the night. Kiviranta impressed the fans in his home debut with 1+2 performances, when the Colorado Avalanche he represented defeated the Anaheim Ducks 8–2.

The victory was the second in a row for Colorado.
Edmonton came from two goals behind to win
