The accident took place around 16:00 in Küçükçekmece Atakent District. According to the information obtained, the police officer, the driver of the car with plate number 34 HEY 96, who returned from the hospital with his family and was heading home, fainted behind the wheel in Atakent District.
HE HAD HIT 5 VEHICLES AND STOPPED
The car went out of control and crashed into 5 parked cars. The first aid was provided by the shopkeeper in the area who saw the accident. Upon notice, fire brigade, health and police teams were dispatched to the scene. Firefighters took the unconscious driver out of the vehicle and handed him over to the ambulance. After the intervention, the driver, who was a police officer, was taken to the hospital. While the occupants of the vehicle were taken to hospital as a precaution, it was learned that their injuries were not life-threatening. After the police investigated the scene, the vehicles were removed with the help of a tow truck.
