“Hunger Games” is back in theaters

This is not a sequel to the four dystopian films, adapted from the successful novels (100 million copies sold worldwide) by Suzanne Collins. It is rather what Hollywood calls a “prequel”, that is to say a return to the origins which takes place more than 60 years before… Director Francis Lawrence is back in action with “The Ballad of the Serpent and of the singing bird” which is released in France this Wednesday, November 15. In Panem, a futuristic America ravaged by civil war, the totalitarian power has been organizing the “Hunger Games” for ten years, publicized circus games that see 24 young boys and girls compete to the death in an arena.
