There will be no season premiere in Beitostölen for Ingvild Flugstad Östberg.
The Norwegian is stopped because she did not receive an approved health certificate.
– I make high demands on myself and constantly seek development in order to be able to fight for the best positions and medals, while at the same time I want to take care of my own health. I have put in a huge amount of work, with good support around me, but today, unfortunately, not all parameters are good enough to get an approved health certificate.
– The balance between exercise and diet has not been good enough, says Flugstad Östberg in a statement.
The 33-year-old has been stopped several times before as she did not pass the national team’s health requirements.
